Service Availability:
The Metabolic Health Snapshot and ongoing medical care are currently available to residents of Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, and Missouri, where Dr. Robertson is licensed to practice medicine (Florida coming soon).
Timothy Hook, LCSW, provides behavioral health services exclusively to Tennessee residents.
I entered medicine with one intention: to ensure people feel heard, honored, and truly cared for. Growing up with deep Louisiana Cajun roots—born in New Orleans to parents raised along Bayou Lafourche—my life has always been shaped by community, hospitality, rhythm, culture, and food. I understand how nourishment connects us, how tradition influences our health, and how joy and struggle often live side by side.
Those early cultural experiences shaped my view of what it means to live abundantly. But my early healthcare experiences taught me something else entirely: how painful it is when your voice feels invisible. Being dismissed or rushed changed me—it shaped my commitment to practice medicine differently, with presence, curiosity, and deep listening.
I earned my medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine and completed my residency training at the Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency, where I developed my passion for whole-person, prevention-centered care. Today, I am a board-certified Family Medicine physician, dedicated to blending science with soul in every interaction.
In 2025, I experienced a stillbirth that forever changed how I understand life, health, and purpose. Grief reordered everything. But within that heartbreak, I found profound clarity:
health is what allows us to be present for the moments—and the people—that matter most.
Abundant Health & Wellness was born from that truth—the desire to honor my son’s life by helping others live fully in their own.
My approach integrates evidence-based medical care with compassionate, shame-free support. I work with clients to heal metabolism, restore energy, calm the nervous system, and rebuild confidence. Whether through metabolic care, behavioral support, or whole-body wellness, my mission is to make sure every person feels seen, supported, and empowered.
When I’m not caring for clients, you’ll find me dancing with my kids, cooking family meals with flavors that remind me of home, kayaking, exploring nature, or traveling to experience new cultures and cuisines. These moments keep me grounded in the “why” behind my work.
My purpose is simple:
to help you feel well, live fully, and be present for the moments that mean the most.
Dr. Robertson is licensed to practice medicine in Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, and Missouri, with Florida licensure coming soon.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Tennessee with specialized training in behavioral health and five years of clinical experience. My work spans individual therapy, short-term counseling, crisis intervention, addiction recovery, and trauma-informed care—including modalities such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, and Gestalt therapy.
Before becoming a behavioral health practitioner, I proudly served twenty-one years in the United States Air Force. My military career shaped my understanding of resilience, discipline, compassion, teamwork, and the deep courage it takes to seek help during life’s most challenging moments. That experience strengthens my ability to walk alongside clients with steadiness and respect.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Middle Tennessee State University and my Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where I deepened my commitment to whole-person care and evidence-informed practice.
I believe that healing begins with being seen—truly seen—for who you are and what you carry. My counseling approach centers on meeting you exactly where you are and helping you grow toward the version of yourself you want to become. Together, we create a space grounded in kindness, confidentiality, and trust—where healing can take root and meaningful change can happen.
At Abundant Health & Wellness, I offer:
Outside of work, I’m a long-time student of martial arts, an outdoor enthusiast who loves kayaking and camping, and someone who finds joy in bluegrass music, learning the banjo, and relaxing in a hammock. I treasure time spent playing with my children and being fully present in the quiet spaces where reflection and growth happen.
Seeking support is a courageous first step, and I’m honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, resilience, and wholeness.
As a Client Experience Manager, I bring empathy, understanding, and a genuine love for people into everything I do. My own journey — including recovery from a twelve-year addiction — taught me the power of compassion, resilience, and human connection. Those lessons guide me every day as I work to make sure every person feels safe, seen, heard, and respected.
I’m passionate about creating thoughtful solutions to complex challenges and listening with intention to the unique needs of every individual. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in the garden, solving puzzles, crafting, or watching Star Trek with my animals nearby — because I believe curiosity and care both keep us growing.
